A Game to Train Ltd is an innovative e-learning company specialising in food hygiene game based training for the hospitality industry. In April 2016, we launched ‘A Game to Train Food Safety’. This product is a ‘serious game’ which is very different from e-learning that has had gamification elements added to it. It is truly immersive learning that has been designed to change behaviour. There is no other product like it in the food safety compliance field and it will play an important role in developing and maintaining a positive food safety culture within companies. It has already been awarded ‘CIEH Assured’ status by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health who are the UK’s leading provider of food safety qualifications. This means that companies can be confident that all the learning outcomes of their Level 2 Award in Food Safety have been met and that knowledge and understanding has been robustly tested. We have also developed ‘Tin Can Tracker’ to complement our e-learning products. This is a next generation learning management system which, as well as recording learning, has the ability to accept electronic ‘statements’ from all sorts of devices and collate them on an individual’s learning record.
