A Suit That Fits (ASTF)

A Suit That Fits ethically hand-tailor bespoke suits from £499. With over 25 locations nationwide, you visit a Style Advisor and start by selecting from our hand-picked cloths, before customising every detail to your personal preferences. You will then be expertly measured for your personal pattern to be drawn, the cloth will be cut, and then hand-stitched into your bespoke garment. Once your suit is ready, you will have a fitting appointment with your Style Advisor to finesse the fit. School friends, Warren Bennett and David Hathiramani, founded the business in 2006. The inspiration behind it is their love of suits and technology. The suits are produced in Nepal, where the idea for the company originated while Warren was volunteering; he met a tailoring family, who made him a fine hand-tailored wool suit. Back in the UK, Warren and David realised that they could use their respective engineering and software backgrounds to simplify and improve tailoring for the internet. When they trialled A Suit That Fits at Hampstead market, they sold their first suit within twenty minutes of opening and quickly realised it was a viable business idea. So, working through the night, they created a simple website that was the first version of www.aSuitThatFits.com. Today, ASTF is the UK's largest bespoke tailoring company, having produced over 170,000 bespoke garments.
