AC Screens & Shutters was established in Cape Town in 1997 and pioneered the introduction of advanced composite solar textile screens into South Africa, as well as being one of the first companies to manufacture insulated aluminium roller shutters. We manufacture a wide range of top quality European mechanisms for the application of advanced solar control textiles: • Roller screens and blinds • Horizontal sliding awnings • Patio folding arm awnings • Fall arm and sliding arm awnings • Fixed panel screens Our insulated and extruded aluminium roller shutters provide a number of excellent features such as security, privacy, light, heat and noise control. We are accredited Somfy Expert® installers of motorisation and automation systems, including the Glydea range of motorised curtain tracks. Our product range is ideally suited to improving a building’s energy efficiency by regulating the admission of heat and light, making us a key player in the Green Building trend.
