This Paris-based body, founded as Association Cambiste Internationale, has more than 10,000 international members worldwide in more than 60 countries, making it the largest international association in the wholesale financial markets. What We Do: Professional Development A Cornerstone of the activities of ACI Singapore is the professional development of market practitioners in the financial markets. Courses are conducted regularly not only for new entrants to the industry but also to support the continuing education requirements of experienced professionals in the industry. Evening Seminars are regularly conducted by ACI Singapore to update members on new products, regulatory changes and the trading outlook of markets. Ethical Conduct in Financial Markets ACI Singapore is fully committed to promoting the highest standards of Ethical Conduct in the Financial Markets. In Singapore, ACI Singapore works closely with the Singapore Foreign Exchange Market Committee (SFEMC), Institute of Banking & Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore to promote best practices through the Financial Markets Regulatory and Practices (FMRP) Certificate to address Code of Conduct issues and to ensure that all professionals are familiar with the statutory and regulatory framework in Singapore. Networking Events For Members The financial markets industry has for many years depended on networking and the building of relationships between professionals in the industry. ACI Singapore provides this forum through networking events which are held 3-4 times a year, which may include evening seminars followed by drinks, the annual ACI Singapore Charity Golf Gala Dinner or social event like Wine Appreciation evenings.
