Advanced Air Traffic Systems (M) Sdn Bhd or AAT was established on 30 April 1994 specifically to develop in-country capability on the maintenance and integrated logistic support services for Air Traffic Control (ATC) radar and systems especially those supplied by SELEX ES. Apart from the above, AAT also market and supply quality Navigational Aid (NAVAID) equipments . After undergoing technology transfer (TOT) programme from SELEX ES since 1996, AAT presently is the only company capable and certified qualified by SELEX ES to carry out maintenance services and to provide integrated logistic support services to all SELEX ES ATC radar and systems operating in Malaysia and in the Asia Pacific region. AAT aspires to become an important regional and global player and provider of world-class engineering maintenance and integrated logistic support services to high technology systems. In Malaysia, AAT works hand-in-hand with the DCA (Dept. Of Civil Aviation) for Malaysian Air Traffic Services Modernisation Programme (MATSMP), providing after-sales support delivered by highly experienced and qualified staff. Our recent installations and commissioning of ATC systems include a Terminal Approach Radar at Miri Airport, in Malaysia. AAT's role as the frontline ATS maintenance provider is to improve air traffic safety by responding fast to any unexpected maintenance needs. We play a vital role in delivering a smoother air traffic service by helping the ATC supervisor anticipate potential problems that could reduce the efficiency of services. We also supply spare parts and implement enhancements and upgrades.
