African Food and Peace Foundation (AFPF) is a 501(c)3 that promotes community-initiated rural development projects with established partner organizations. We do this by contributing financial and strategic resources. ​ Based out of the Greater Boston area for nearly 35 years, AFPF has been supporting significant, long-term development in rural Uganda and providing North Americans with well-stewarded, quality development projects. With our partners, we support the following key strategies: Improved equity, quality, and access of education for women and girls Food security through improved agricultural practices Entrepreneurship through technical and vocational skills Peace through advancements in health and social welfare Environmental sustainability
