We deliver sustainable energy solutions founded in agriculture. Through the application of advanced crop improvement and breeding technology, Agrisoma has commercialized a non-food sustainable crop called Carinata, enhanced yield of uniform, high-quality oil for biodiesel and biojet fuel production. This proprietary crop product – Resonance™ Carinata – is a sustainable, scalable solution to biofuel feedstock demand. With more than 2 million litres of advanced biofuels being made from carinata and more than 10 million kilograms of sustainable animal feed produced in the initial commercial production by over 140 innovative growers in Canada, the United States and South America, Agrisoma is scaling its operations to meet growing demand. We are entering expanded commercial production in key production zones, benefiting from production in semi-arid zones with large amount of fallow land not normally suitable for production of food crops like corn and soybean, and providing a second cropping option for growers in areas like the southeastern United States, Agrisoma provides a solution of the food versus fuel debate. Agrisoma is leveraging these successes to build a multimillion dollar seed and crop business to service the growing demand for non-food, sustainable biofuel feedstock to supply the renewable fuels industry. The renewable fuels industry continues to grow as public demand to reduce carbon emissions drives inclusion of biofuels in transportation. Industries, such as aviation, have set ambitious targets for reducing greenhouse emissions, with the cornerstone being renewable fuels. Agrisoma’s proprietary oilseed crop Resonance™ Carinata is a sustainable, scalable solution to this feedstock demand.
