Alberta BioPhotonics develops advanced testing technology for various quantitation applications in the field. Our core technology, OptiQ, was designed as an on-site and fast, analytical testing solution. With the current challenges of long waiting times and high lab testing costs, OptiQ empowers the end-user to obtain sample results within minutes. Our first two tests are for DNA and protein detection. We plan to roll out further tests depending on end-user needs. OptiQ was designed with field-work in mind. With a small footprint and control by a tablet, the instrument can be easily carried. With a built-in-battery, the device can last for hours with continuous operation and can move from one location to another with ease.
