Founded in 1962, the Alfred Harcourt Foundation supports close to 80 students at colleges and universities in the New York metropolitan area and offers over $650,000 in scholarships a year. Our particular focus is low-income students. While many of them are interested in public service careers such as Education and Nursing, others pursue careers in Engineering, Architecture, Psychology, Business and Communications. The Alfred Harcourt Foundation prides itself on the personal connections it makes with each student. We pay close attention to our students to help them succeed.
