Allay Care is a nonprofit organization helping people talk about and document their end of life care wishes. By facilitating a series of conversations about personal values and preferences, we guide people in creating a CareDecisions Portfolio, documenting their wishes in their own words. Your CareDecisions Portfolio will answer the questions about how you want to live at the end of your life and what you want to do with your body when youve died. The basics of each of those are typically covered in a doctors office or funeral home, but we go beyond the basics documenting preferences about your surroundings, who you want around, after-death care, and more. Documenting your specific preferences lets your loved ones know exactly what you want, and removes stress and burdens during difficult times.
