Amarant Groep The Amarant Groep is a large healthcare organisation in the province Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands, providing care to clients in every stage of life. The client perspective is always central. All efforts and innovations are focused on the clients doing it themselves, get involved and their quality of life. The Amarant Groep is the total of the following three brand names: Amarant Idris Dr. Leo Kannerhuis Brabant Amarant delivers care to people with a (serious) mental disability in every stage of life. It provides care to children and their families (environment), young people, adults and elderly. Amarant includes three specialised centres and multiple accommodations in neighbourhoods throughout Noord-Brabant. Idris is a specialised treatment centre for children, young people and adults with a minimal mental disability combined with (very) complex behaviour. Idris delivers outpatient care, ambulatory care and residence care including crisis shelter. Dr. Leo Kannerhuis Brabant provides specialised treatment for people with autism, normally gifted. It includes outpatient care, day care and care including staying. The Amarant Groep includes approximately 5500 employees and 5500 clients as well. The employees, daily support and care services to clients are supported by educationalists, psychologists, therapists and case managers.
