Amico & Co is one of the worlds major super yacht repair and refit centres, with large yacht docking facilities, including a brand new 4000T ShipLift and multiple dry-dock solutions, such as a 102m covered graving dock inside the shipyard. Unlike many yards Amico & Co specializes only in this work and has developed facilities at its main yard in Genoa in Northern Italy to meet the precise requirements of repair and refit. It runs a second yard in Loano. Amico & Co can cater for all work whether the job is just to refresh the paintwork right through to a major conversion job that might take a year or more. The yard can handle any type and size of yacht including the latest generation of large sailboats and its specialty is working on classic and antique yachts where dedicated care is required. The aim of Amico & Co is to complete each project on time and on budget. Amico & Co has a long experience of working to meet all Flag State and Class regulations, and interacts with important associations such as Confindustria, UCINA and ICOMIA (Confederation of Italian Industry, Italian Union of Shipyards and Yachting and International Council of Marine Industry Association) and was the first shipyard in Italy to attain the environmental management standard certificate ISO 14001.
