Andrew Simpson Centres

We've been getting people on the water since 9 May 2014! Set up to continue the legacy of British Olympic and America’s Cup sailor Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson, our first not-for-profit centre in Portland, Dorset was opened on the 9 May 2014. Since then, we have expanded with three additional watersports centres opening in Reading, Portsmouth and our first European base on Lake Garda, Italy. Sailing at any of our not-for-profit centres not only gives you an incredible experience on the water, but all of our profits are put back into the charity so we can pursue and achieve our charitable aims. We are passionate about encouraging young people into sailing and watersports and we pride ourselves on giving every young person a quality, fun and safe experience. “Our Watersports Centres are a delivery mechanism for the Andrew Simpson Foundation’s charitable objectives of increasing participation in sailing and improving the lives of disadvantaged young people through sailing and watersports.
