The Ann Arbor Township Fire Department is a combination fire department (Full-Time and Paid/On-Call personnel) that is responsible for protecting the residents and visitors of Ann Arbor Charter Township. We provide fire suppression, first response and Basic Life Support (BLS) medical services, technical rescue (vehicle extrication, trench rescue, confined space rescue, ice water rescue, swift water rescue, high-angle rescue, elevator rescue), hazardous materials incident mitigation, K-9 search and rescue, and fire safety education services to the residents of Ann Arbor Township. Our goal is to protect life, property, and the environment from fire and other incidents through prevention, training, and practice.
