Antelope Valley Christian Center

Antelope Valley Christian Center is a non-denominational church. Determined to continually meet the need of God’s people, Antelope Valley Christian Center dedicates itself to innovate mind renewing, relevant, creative ministries and programs specifically designed to teach and remind God's people the power of His word, combined with faith, corresponding actions and gifts from the Holy Spirit to heal, love, and be transformed to live victoriously today! Inspired by God and led by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Tom and Donna Pickens left their ministerial positions at Crenshaw Christian Center with Dr. Frederick Price in Los Angeles, with his blessings. They gathered their three children to venture into an unfamiliar community located in Southern California’s High Desert. Unbeknownst to them, a modest-sized group of people were also praying for a ministry committed to teaching God’s uncompromising Word to establish itself in the Antelope Valley. On January 10, 1993 Pastor Tom Pickens Jr., together with his wife Minister Donna, their children and 285 founding members ushered in Antelope Valley Christian Center. AVCC has since exploded into a spiritual powerhouse with an ever-growing, unique and vivacious church body that reflects a rich cultural, ethnic and generational mix.
