The work that our 230 people do in collecting, processing and analysing specimens is vital to every aspect of medicine - from the diagnosis of disease to the monitoring of chronic conditions and the effectiveness of medical treatments - and we genuinely care about the health and wellbeing of people in our community. Every day about 3000 patient samples get registered in our laboratory and we undertake about 10,000 pathology tests. We are an IANZ accredited laboratory, with a skilled, supportive, and highly regarded team of Pathologists, Scientists, Technicians, Assistants, Phlebotomists and business support people, both in our main laboratory on Courtenay Place and 14 collection centres throughout the region.
