Traditionally, high performance sport and corporate recruitment rely on classic selection methodologies, which can be unfairly biased due to human error and untested selection batteries. ART has transcended these classical tests by combining tried and tested methods used around the world for selecting the greatest warriors for battle and applying it in a modern sporting environment, through research, training development and ongoing validation. There has been much scientific research conducted into understanding the differential abilities of people coping with negative experiences. Resilience is a main coping mechanism with a set of protective factors that modify, amend, or alter a person’s response to some environmental hazards that predisposes one to a maladaptive outcome.
