For over fifty years Archbishop Rummel High School has educated young men in the Lasallian heritage of faith, community, and service, helping them to develop their unique talents to the best of their ability. These students are leaders – leaders who serve others, leaders who care. They truly embody the motto of the school’s namesake: “To give one’s life for the sheep.” ~Archbishop Joseph Francis Rummel Archbishop Rummel is proud of its association with the Christian Brothers and the order’s commitment to the development of faith, community, and service in the students it serves. True to the Lasallian tradition of the education of young people, Archbishop Rummel recognizes the inherent dignity of each student and works to educate him according to his unique talents and abilities. Just as importantly, Archbishop Rummel High School emphasizes that all students, regardless of economic level, academic ability, or ethnic background, be allowed to receive an education grounded in academic excellence. Character and integrity are hallmarks of a Lasallian education. To foster the development of those qualities, a group of students, teaches, and administrators collaborated to establish a comprehensive Honesty and Integrity policy for the entire school. Members of the Archbishop Rummel High School community take great pride promoting and living these values every day. Archbishop Rummel High School opened its door on Monday, September 10, 1962.
