Artémat comes from the synthesis of expertise in the fields of Information and Communication Technology and Economic-Managerial Engineering. Its name, Artémat, means our aim to combine the scientific approach to problems, the ability to model and simulate complex systems, and the creative approach to represent and deal with all the dynamical features that characterize technological and managerial innovation. Artémat is mainly working on Business Simulations, by designing a general framework to build Business Games, and developing mathematical models that reproduce a real competitive frameworks. Bu using such simulations, one may understand the cause-effect relationships that hold among the key variables, and thus analyze the enterprise behavior after internal or external variation affecting the system. Artémat contributes in the field of the business simulation in many respects, specifically with the: - Development of an innovative software architecture (BGS - Business Game Studio), which allows to create and manage in a flexible way business simulation in different application contexts. - Development of a Business simulator specifically tailored for dealing with information and technology scenarios. - Development of a software infrastructure for experiencing Business Games trough a number of devices, and specifically portable devices. - Development of systems for Business Intelligence.
