ASOFIA, the Australian Shop & Office Fitting Industry Association Limited, has been a national body since the late 1970s and now has around 500 members across the many disciplines of the sector. These include Shop and Office Fitters, Manufacturers, Suppliers, Service Providers and Subcontractors. The state-based divisions are operated by dedicated volunteers who organise trade nights, networking and award events. These state divisions feed into the national body which coordinates initiatives such as training, accreditation, strategic communications, marketing, sponsorship and stakeholder relations as well as organising the national conferences, award ceremonies and the member benefit program. The Australian Shop & Office Fitting Industry Association Limited (ASOFIA) supports it's members by helping them achieve the highest standards of workmanship and customer service, while advocating the professional recognition of the whole industry. Members of the Australian Shop and Office Fitting Industry Association (ASOFIA) design and/or build retail & corporate interiors across Australia and New Zealand. This industry represents the specialist designed and purpose built environments for store owners, their customers, and their staff for thousands of businesses - from small retailers, franchise and corporate retail chains to supermarkets and offices.
