Association of Irish Racecourses

The objectives of the Association include: To further the interests of Horseracing generally in Ireland and particularly the interests of Racecourse Owners and Executives. To advise and assist Members individually and, or, collectively on all matters appertaining to their separate and collective interests. To perform any act or function deemed to be consistent with the objectives of the Association. To negotiate on behalf of individual Members or all Members collectively with regard to the sale of: Results; Audio and Film Commentaries of Races to News Media, Radio TV Stations; General racing information services. To enter into legally binding contracts on behalf of the Members and if necessary to enforce the honouring of such contracts by racecourses to the Courts and defending any legal actions taken by other parties to such agreements against either individual Members or all Members collectively.
