Australian Paper is the only Australian manufacturer of printing, communication and packaging papers. It is best known for Reflex® office paper, an iconic Superbrands product. Each year, Australian Paper produces more than 1,100,000 tonnes of pulp and paper for the Australian and New Zealand markets and exports to a further 70 countries around the world. Australian Paper employs more than 1,300 Australians, mostly in regional communities, and 95% of its production inputs are sourced locally. In 2012 Australian Papers operations contributed $754 million to Australias gross domestic product. The Australian Paper mill is located at Maryvale in Victoria. Australian Paper's operations also support around 6,000 full-time equivalent direct and indirect Australian jobs. Australian Paper is owned by the Nippon Paper Group Inc. since 2009.
