avantcard

Avantcard has a rich heritage in consumer finance going all the way back to 1997 when our original credit card business was established by MBNA. Weve come a long way since then, re-locating to a purpose-built facility in Carrick-on-Shannon in the North West of Ireland. The business has evolved to provide a broader range of financing options with the introduction of personal loans and was re-branded to Avantcard in 2013. Our team has a history of providing exceptional products and best-in-class customer service in Ireland for over 20 years. While weve seen a lot of change over the years, our commitment to our customers has remained constant, and is as much a part of our DNA today as it was 20 years ago. We are committed to growing our business with the aim of becoming Irelands leading open-market consumer finance provider, offering access to a full suite of financing options where, when and how consumers want them, always operating in control. Avantcard is also committed to improving the lives of those who work for us and to ensuring that we have practices in place which allow them to flourish in the workplace. Our people are our greatest asset, and we benefit greatly from having a talented and motivated local workforce. We are continually working to improve our workplace culture for the benefit of those who work for us. In 2018, Avantcard was officially recognised as a Great Place to Work shortly after being awarded the Ibec KeepWell mark earlier in the year, the first financial service company in Ireland to achieve this. In 2019, Avantcard became part of the Bankinter group. Avantcard is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
