avanti runs india’s largest interventions integrating technology to improve math and science achievement in secondary schools. our programs currently cover over 50,000 students in government school classrooms and over 5 million students online. avanti's products combine curriculum-aligned video content, workbooks and online and offline assessments. our pedagogy, peer instruction focuses on helping teachers shift their behavior in the classroom from "teaching" to facilitating self-directed learning. avanti's team works in close collaboration with government school administrators to help them enact high scale system transformation. in addition to system transformation work, millions of students study for free on avanti's online learning platforms. each week, our content receives over 5m views and helps over a million students. avanti's interventions have helped increase math achievement for grade 9 students by 0.6 standard deviations in a single year (the highest recorded in any research study in secondary schools in india). our college access programs focus on preparing students for the iit jee and neet exams. over 60% of our students from the jawahar navodaya vidyalaya schools qualify these exams each year.
