AWOC exists to provide an industry perspective to Government and other stakeholders on issues related to welding fabrication in the Province of Alberta. AWOC maintains a membership across multiple stakeholder disciplines to identify, research and recommend solutions to any issue that has the potential to impact welded metal fabricating and construction industries including but not limited to; training, labour supply, regulation, supply chain, and national and international competitiveness. AWOC regularly affirms solutions through the direct engagement of large groups of stakeholders to ensure all efforts are focused on the optimization of welding within Alberta.
