Phil Burton, now President of Barrel Builders, started as an apprentice cooper in 74 working his way up to now sole owner. His daughter Heather came on board in 2014 as Marketing Director and Sales. Barrel Builders offers French, Eastern European, and American oak barrels in Bordeaux and Burgundy styles. Wines ages in our barrels have won numerous awards and received 90+ points a variety of competitions. In 2015 we launched our online cooperage supplies store making it even easier to order everything you need to maintain your barrels from bungs to cooper's hammers. Yann Guiguen, Barrel Builders Master Cooper, runs our shop where we offer used barrels, barrel reconditioning, and repair.
