Berkshire Community Foundation

Berkshire Community Foundation is Berkshire's charitable hub: connecting people who care with causes that matter. For almost 40 years we have worked across Berkshire to raise, then distribute money directly to vital local causes. We are part of a network of 47 accredited Community Foundations across the UK, affiliated to the UK Community Foundations membership organisation. Every year we award grants to a wide range of local projects and organisations. We provide advice, networking and skills support, and raise the profile of local charities and community groups addressing vital needs across Berkshire, including child poverty, homelessness, physical and mental health and isolation. We aim to ensure our grant-making contributes to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A large part of our work goes towards tackling key SDGs at local level. We work alongside philanthropic individuals, businesses and organisations to raise funds and guide giving decisions, helping to maximise the positive impact of their contributions on local communities.
