The opening of Bert Ogden Arena has launched a new era in sports and entertainment facilities in the Rio Grande Valley. Built in the heart of the Valley, Bert Ogden Arena - the largest indoor venue of its kind in deep south Texas - will serve as a premier destination for sports and live entertainment, drawing year-round attendees. Our flexible and dynamic space has the ability to accommodate major concerts, family shows, sporting events, commencements, conferences, corporate events and political functions. It proudly serves as the official home of the NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers – an affiliate of the Houston Rockets. With a distinct profile and state of the art architecture, Bert Ogden Arena is conveniently located in Edinburg, off Interstate 69, a focal point and major thoroughfare of the Rio Grande Valley. Inside, the arena provides exceptional unobstructed views for 9,000 fans on three levels of seating, including 12 private suites and 6 bunker/club suites. All seats are comfortably designed – measuring 48 inches from front to back of each seat to offer ample legroom.
