Operating for twelve years now, Biologic was born out of the requirement from the private and public sector for highly experienced and knowledgeable zoologists and ecologists. Experienced individuals have been spread thin through the industry in recent years and it is Biologic’s aim to bring together full teams of the most competent people in the industry. This provides clients with accurate results and smooth delivery of an in-depth and on time report. Biologic specialises in vertebrate, invertebrate and subterranean fauna surveys of any size and scope. With capabilities to undertake multi-season Level 2 surveys, Biologic also undertakes reconnaissance and targeted species surveys as well as rare species monitoring. Biologic has all the specialist equipment required to undertake zoological surveys, with particular experience in arid zone ecology, herpetology and ornithology. Some of Biologic’s equipment include:  Mine-equipped 100 Series Landcruisers and Hilux;  Off-road heavy duty trailer;  SM2BAT+ units;  Remote-sensing cameras;  A wide array of mammal and reptile traps; and  Microchipping equipment. Biologic’s team has particular experience working in remote areas and most staff have undertaken the following training:  Defensive Driver Training;  4WD Driver Training; and  Senior First Aid Training. Staff have a good understanding of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and how this relates to management of personnel safety on mining and exploration leases.
