Bit to Byte: STEM Hub is a 501 c(3) nonprofit organization that works to drive innovation and increase opportunity in the field of STEM by providing students and educators access to resources in and out of the classroom. We do this by providing schools with free accredited STEM curriculum and empowering students with after-school workshops (building a 3D printer, learning new coding language, etc.). In addition, we also offer an online proposal system where youth can propose to have a project, event, or research funded, and for teachers who need educational resources in their classroom. All proposals accepted are required to provide content that will be added to the Bit to Byte: STEM Hub online platform for other students to learn from and be inspired by. Bit to Byte: STEM Hub was started by, and is run by, undergraduate students from Iowa State University. It's a team made up of unique individuals who have come together for a common goal; to encourage individualized learning and educational ownership by fostering student-led communities in STEM through exploration, collaboration, and innovation.
