blueye robotics

Blueye Robotics is the worlds leading maker of ocean drones. After 2 years of extensive research and development by a team of some of the best minds in sub-sea robotics, the Blueye Pioneer ocean drone is nearing readiness for commercial launch. Born out of a desire to commercialise, and make available to widest audience possible, the sophisticated knowledge of sub-sea automation that exists in the technology capitol of Norway of Trondheim. Blueye set out on a journey to make it easier for everyone to record and share what is hidden below the surface the world's oceans. Blueye was founded in 2015 by Erik Dyrkoren and Christine Spiten, together with professors from the Centre for Autonomous Marine Operations and Systems (AMOS) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). The team of designers and developers continues to grow, and Blueye now has dedicated sales and marketing professionals. The Blueye Pioneer underwater drone is being designed to be the most robust, user friendly, and cost effective ocean drone available to consumers and a wide range of professionals. Blueye Robotics has been operating in stealth mode during the period of development. In March 2017 Blueye will officially launch into the leisure marine market at a boat show in Southern Norway. The professional and workboat market launch will happen later in the same year. The global roll out of Blueye and its ocean drones will happen though 2017 and onwards. Follow us to keep up to date as we launch the company, launch the product, and define a new market category.
