The T-bar surface lift is one of the most cost effective and reliable means of transportation for alpine enthusiasts around the world. In an increasingly competitive market, ski resorts rely on new innovative ways to satisfy their ski loving visitors’ needs. To make the experience at the resort as enjoyable as possible, a comfortable means of transportation between wonderful but exhausting skiing runs is now more important than ever. That’s why we developed Boardie – a fast, low cost alternative to improve comfort and design of the classic T-bar surface lift. The wider design of Boardie allows for a new space facing the user in his or her field of attention during the entire T-bar ride, which creates a highly effective communication area. This space could for example be used to increase awareness of the resort brand, or be sold to third party advertisers targeting the premium customer segment ‘ski vacationers’ – turning the T-bar systems in place at the resort into additional revenue streams. We are a team of product developers and engineers, and all big fans of skiing and snowboarding. That’s why we are dedicated to our mission – to improve the alpine experience and continuously develop ways alpine enthusiasts focus on their passion for skiing and mountaineering. We aim to develop products ski resorts can use to better satisfy their visitors. Because our belief is that if visitors are unexpectedly delighted at the resort, they will visit again and tell more of their friends to join them.
