Bondi Beach Radio (BBR)

Bondi Beach Radio (BBR) was a community based digital radio station broadcasting from a studio at Bondi Beach and from pop up mobile rigs from May 2013 to May 2022. BBR provided a live and on-line platform for our local and global listener community, integrating and enhancing independent music, arts and associated community information. The station collective had up to 130 members across over 60 live shows broadcasting weekly The content broadcast through BBR reflected the inimitable essence of Sydney’s creative and entrepreneurial community: a vibrant, international destination for the arts, design, fashion, music, food, and innovative technology. BBR saw on average 50,000+ unique visits or engagements monthly from our local and global communities across our radio, video, social media, and web channels Bondi Beach Radio was managed by Bondi Association of Arts and Music Inc (BAAM), an Incorporated Association established to conduct, encourage, promote, advance and administer music and arts throughout the EastSide Sydney area BAAM / BRR was shut down by Waverley Council in May 2022 through their vote to rationalise community radio into a new studio in the Bondi Pavilion managed by a new entrant to the area http://www.linkedin.com/company/bondi-association-for-arts-and-music-inc/
