Boss Brown Women

The Boss Brown Women podcast is a show for and about inspiring women, and the heartbreaks, lessons and triumphs they experience on their journeys to success. My aim with this project is to create and foster a community for women starting out in the fields of business and entrepreneurship; by providing a platform for female leaders in these fields to share their stories, I hope to inspire and educate the next generation of pioneers, and to provide them with access to guidance and mentorship on their journeys. I believe stories are important— they define the realm of what’s possible for us. They teach us how to dream, how to fail, how to learn, and how to succeed. By providing a platform for the stories of pioneering brown women, I aspire to redefine the realm of possibilities for women all over the world.  I have greatly benefitted from access to invaluable information through podcasts like How I Built This, and Girlboss Radio; with this podcast, I aim to be able to bring that kind of quality content featuring trailblazing Indian women to a global audience—women who have broken the proverbial glass ceiling and paved the path for generations to come when they were expected to do anything but. I am a strong proponent of the concept of conscious consumption, and by bringing more quality content to consumers, I hope to extend this concept past just what we eat or what we wear, to what we feed our minds as well. Conversing with these Boss Brown Women, as I like to call them, energizes me and motivates me to pursue my dreams and educates me on how to make them a reality — the exact takeaway I hope my audience gets from this podcast.
