The tax revenue that BURS is responsible for comprises customs and excise duties, Income Tax, Value Added Tax (VAT), Capital Transfer Tax and other government levies. BURS is made up of seven Divisions: the Office of the Commissioner General, Customs & Excise, Internal Revenue, Human Resources, Information Technology, Internal Audit and Legal Services.
