Bouga CacaO was founded in 2006 by Ulrike Bongartz und Alexander Gareiss in Germany and moved to the Foix in the french Pyrenees in 2007. Before Bouga CacaO was founded the founders lived and worked for some years in Ecuador, where they got in contact with various cocoa producers and their organizations. The main goal of Bouga CacaO is to promote local transformation of raw material (cocoa) and its direct marketing in order to generate more added value in situ and thus contribute to local development. Our partners work only with high quality Nacional Arriba cocoa and Bouga CacaO markets the products all over Europe.
