BOWI Project

BOWI | Boosting Widening Digital Innovation Hubs This project is aligned with the Smart Anything Everywhere initiative that aims to boost innovation uptake across Europe through widening and knowledge transfer between different regions and digital innovation hubs. The objective of our project is to support the collaboration between Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) across Europe to increase their capacity in supporting SMEs with digital technologies and thus strengthen regional economy and the competitiveness of the European SMEs. We will be running several open calls for technology transfer experiments for manufacturing SMEs and mid-caps and a call for developing digital innovation hubs to join these experiments. During these experiments we will distribute funding and explore best cooperation options for the two hubs that later can form a basis for the BOWI network - European-wide community of digitalization stakeholders. Who can join our community? Established digital innovation hubs from digitally developed (mature) regions; Emerging digital innovation hubs from currently developing regions; Manufacturing companies that offer advanced digital solutions; Manufacturing companies that utilize digital solutions in their production processes; Investment agencies and private investors looking for new business opportunities in the field; Regional development agencies and policy makers searching for new collaboration opportunities and best practices; Everyone interested in advanced digital solutions and industry trends. Visit our website to find out more! The BOWI project has received funding under the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no 873155.
