The club is affiliated with Swimming Australia, Swimming Queensland and Swimming Brisbane. The club is proud of its swimming success and can boast many regional and state champions, a number of national qualifiers and Australian Age Champions. Equally, the club is delighted at its participation philosophy which encourages and rewards club swimmers for participation and improvement. Established in 1981 as a P&C Sub-Committee the club has evolved into a community based incorporated association responsible to its members. It has consistently delivered high quality coaching and competition to Bracken Ridge and surrounding suburbs throughout this period, the quality being such that many former swimmers are now returning with their own children. The facility consists of a twenty-five (25) metre pool and purpose built ten (10) metre learn to swim facility. Both pools are solar and gas heated to allow operation all year. The Swim School delivers a quality, structured and developmental program catering for babies through to stroke correction squads, competitive squads and adult fitness. A culture of continual improvement underpinned by a strategic plan ensures the club will continue to grow and prosper into the future.
