The Brand Registry Group is an association of companies and organisations working together to champion the use of brand top-level domains. The BRG helps companies and organisations keep ahead of the evolving domain industry as it affects dotBrands and helps its members operate their dotBrand registries by providing advice, encouragement and knowledge. We are a community that shares and promotes best practices and we work closely with other industry professions to help our members get the best from their dotBrands. The BRG was formed in 2013 when a number of companies foresaw the need to work collaboratively within the domain name industry after ICANN opened the first application round for new dotBrand top-level domains. The BRG represents brands across the globe, currently with 40% of our members based in Europe, 40% in North America, 20% in Asia and the Middle East.
