In 2016 we put 48% of our profits back into social impact activities and in 2017 it was 53%. The profitable side of our business is in R&D tax relief. Since we started trading in April 2015 weve been helping small companies grow into great big ones by accessing this government incentive. Weve secured £40 million in cash or tax relief for our clients as of 31 December 2017, helping those business owners make their ambitions come true and creating 150 new jobs in the process. Our R&D activity helps us finance our social purpose. We support our clients and partners to get other funding, publicity or new business through our networks, awards, magazines, radio shows or partnership programmes. Being a social enterprise doesnt just mean helping our clients though. We are a responsible corporate citizen; working towards the Planet Mark to ensure our environmental impact is kept to a minimum and being an ethical employer with family friendly practices and paying above the living wage.
