Bright Start Project (BSP) is an unconventional educational and entrepreneurial initiative created to guide the youth of our community towards higher education and careers in Science, Technology, Engeneering, Art and Math (STEAM) fields. Being that Dallas is a mecha of Commerce, Technology and Art BSP will collaborate with professionals and educators in STEAM fields to Inspire kids with hands on learning workshops. Youth in our communities are falling behind in school, being exposed to drugs before higher education opportunities and becoming a part of the criminal justice system while in high school. Our programs build confidence, selfesteem, and practices critical thinking skills improving academic performance. We incorporate entrepreneurship into our curriculum to harness teens street smarts allowing them to create their own opportunities.
