British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark (BCCD)

The British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark is a bilateral organisation. Whether you are a busy top executive looking for a highly focused networking opportunity, or a representative of a small company looking for new business contacts, the Chamber provides various formal and informal platforms and events for such networking opportunities. It is a self-financing organisation that gets its primary income from member subscriptions. The vision of the British Chamber of Commerce in Denmark is to be a “prominent promoter of business and culture between Britain and Denmark”. This means: • We need to provide an environment for effective networking and cultural exchange • We need to understand our members’ needs • We need to actively promote business between UK and Denmark • In conjunction with UKTI, Invest in Denmark and others, we need to be able to broker/advise British businesses starting in Denmark and Danish businesses interested in investing in the UK. To achieve this, we: • Hold attractive business and social events • Facilitate connections between interested parties to improve their business • Work with the British Embassy, UKTI, Danish Embassy in London and the Danish UK Chamber of Commerce in London • Perform analysis on issues relevant to members • Help raise the profile of Britain e.g by awarding scholarships to Danes wishing to study in Britain • Co-operate with other Chambers, e.g. we are members of COBCOE
