Buehler & Buehler Structural Engineers, Inc. (B&B) provides a wide range of structural engineering services throughout the United States. Since 1946, B&B has developed practical, economical structural engineering solutions utilizing expert implementation of conventional and performance-based design techniques. B&B's philosophy is based on the belief that each project has a unique solution that will best fit its individual parameters. We are dedicated to understanding the overall project needs and goals to offer structural solutions that enhance and add value. B&Bs project experience spans the entire spectrum of the built environment. Our services include new design, design-build, tenant improvement, existing building evaluation, seismic retrofit and renovation. B&B takes an integrated approach to project delivery utilizing Lean Construction principles as we seek to optimize efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication and construction. All of our projects utilize 3D design software to provide enhanced design services integrating structural models with other disciplines, as well as specialty construction support. Similarly, our structural 3D building models integrate with the 3D models prepared by construction subcontractors to allow building systems to be coordinated and prefabricated, avoiding time consuming field coordination required with traditional approaches. Through active participation on code committees, presenting at technical seminars, and instructing engineering courses, B&B is on the cutting edge of the structural engineering design community. We are committed to sustainable design, and are members of the U.S. Green Building Council and have LEED Accredited Professionals on staff. Our unique and successful in-house training program brings the knowledge from these activities to our entire staff.
