Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park

Situated on Lake Erie, the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park is a non-profit museum, educational institution, and the largest inland naval park in the United States. Our visitors go inside American history to see incredible displays of military aircraft, vehicles, equipment, artifacts, documents, uniforms, gear, photographs, and much more. The Naval Park's centerpiece are three retired U.S. Navy ships first commissioned during World War II: cruiser USS LITTLE ROCK, destroyer USS THE SULLIVANS (National Historic Landmark), and submarine USS CROAKER (National and State Register of Historic Places). Since our opening in 1979, the Naval Park has been a recognizable part of Buffalo's waterfront and neighbors the popular Canalside maritime and entertainment district. The Naval Park is steps away from KeyBank Center and the one-of a-kind HarborCenter hockey and entertainment complex. The Naval Park is open daily 10.00AM-5.00PM March through September, 10.00AM-4.00PM in October, and weekends 10.00AM-4.00PM in November. Consistently ranked among TripAdvisor's Top 5 Things to Do in Buffalo, the Naval Park received their 2022 Certificate of Excellence.
