Build & Company was created from years of working in the fashion industry and traveling around the globe. There are two major problems I discovered in each realm. Being a fashion designer taught me an important lesson; the client knows what they want, PERIOD. I discovered there is a void for clients to be their own designer and create what fits perfectly into their lifestyle, budget, and aesthetic. The second problem I discovered happened while I was traveling. I never had enough room in my luggage for all the types of purses, clutches, or a backpack I needed for my trips. I would always have limited options due to space and weight. One day while walking on the streets of Paris the idea for a modular purse came to me. I wanted to create a purse line that could change with my needs, the trends, and something I could pack easily. This is how Build & Company was born. With a prefabricated modular purse the client becomes the designer. You are able to create what fits into your lifestyle, and build your style as you see fit.
