Building Hugger is a Detroit-based, woman-owned design-build construction firm focused on preservation trades and reinvestment services. We aim to give property owners affordable, sustainable solutions to weatherization while helping to preserve the character of buildings and neighborhoods. The lion's share of our work is historic window restoration and repair, but we also offer other preservation trade services, historic tax credit consulting, existing condition assessments, building design services, and owner's rep services.
