The Bully Zero Australia Foundation was launched by Hon. Prime Minister Julia Gillard on March 16, 2013. The Foundation has gained support from various charity partners, suppliers, sponsors, media, local, state and federal governments and businesses. BZAF provide a 24 Hour Hotline - 1800 0 Bully (28 559) as at 01/01/2015. The hotline provides general information and support, is confidential and staff are trained. Bully Zero Australia Foundation is a not-for-profit charity with DGR status and is the fastest growing charity in Australia. The Foundation continues to work tirelessly to deliver effective evidenced-based, educational programs on a National level. The Foundation exists to protect and empower children, adolescents, teachers, parents, employees and employers, to live fulfilling lives free from all forms of bullying. BZAF members are passionate about establishing a zero-tolerance culture of bullying and are committed to working tirelessly to ensure that anti-bullying laws are implemented and enforced Nationally. Mission of the Bully Zero Australia Foundation To provide genuine and enduring care for bullying victims and their families. We exist to create awareness, identify and empower victims to support and stand side by side with them, their families and friends in taking action and creating permanent positive change. We are passionate about establishing a zero-tolerance culture of bullying in Australia and will work tirelessly to ensure anti-bullying laws are implemented and enforced Nationally. We aim to provide Australians with evidenced based education programs to prevent bullying and work with bullies and their families to help create positive behavioural changes. Provide and develop on-going customized education programs for schools, workplaces, sporting clubs, community groups, students, teachers and parents about the consequences of bullying. Promote key messages to make bullying unacceptable.
