With annual capacity in excess of 400,000 tonnes the business supplies customers across the UK and Europe with hot rolled steel bar products. Our facilities house two fully automated steel rolling mills that utilise state of the art technology providing efficient steel production. Caparo Merchant Bar specialises in the manufacture of steel flat, round and square bar, steel angles (both equal and unequal), steel convex bar, steel beams and channels as well as steel crane rail. These steel bar products are manufactured as standard sections and lengths but we can also roll many intermediate sizes and non-standard sections in a wide variety of steel grades (including high yield, carbon steel and low alloy grades).
