The Capital Area College Access Network (CapCAN) will increase the college attainment rate of students particularly those who are low-income, first generation, and students of color from the Capital Area (Ingham and Eaton counties of Michigan). This is accomplished through a community collaborative network of support for college readiness and persistence, and a college-going culture. Partners in fulfilling the mission of CapCAN include a diverse network of organizations representing K-12 education, higher education, business, nonprofit, faith, economic development, funders, youth service, students, and their families.
