Carbon Africa

Established in 2009, Carbon Africa Limited is an advisory company focused on climate change and clean technology. It aims to catalyze climate action in Africa by providing policy, programme and project advisory services to public and private actors. On the broader level, the company seeks to support governments in the implementation of the UNFCCC Paris Agreement on climate change, as well as improving the enabling environment for African clean-tech projects through policy and regulatory advisory services. On the climate action level, the focus of the advisory firm is on providing a number of essential services to multilateral organizations, development agencies, financing institutions and the private sector to ensure implementation on the ground. Carbon Africa is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, with representation in Ethiopia, Mozambique, Rwanda and the Netherlands.
